Supplemental Information Report Draft Environmental Impact Statement
Reclamation hosted a series of open houses to explain the NEPA process, present the main findings of the DEIS, and solicit comments on the DEIS.
Each meeting took place from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.:
The open house style public meetings consisted of informational displays. Reclamation staff were available at each meeting to answer questions, receive comments, and provide information.
Public comments were received throughout the evening, either verbally to a court reporter or in writing. Listening Session - Pueblo - May 29, 2008
Reclamation held a listening session in Pueblo on May 29, 2008.
The intent of the meeting was to listen to and record comments made by the public.
The listening session was held at the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center, 210 North Santa Fe Avenue, Pueblo, CO 81003 from 6pm to 8pm.
Reclamation hosted a public hearing in Pueblo, CO on October 29, 2008. The public hearing was at the Pueblo Convention Center,
320 Central Main Street from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The purpose of the hearing was to provide an opportunity to submit oral and written comments
on the Supplemental Information Report. Comments were also accepted in writing.
